Greetings from Superintendent Steve Bradshaw

As I enter my 40th year in public education, I cannot begin to express how fortunate I have been to have spent my adult life working as a teacher, coach, counselor, and administrator.  I have had the distinct pleasure of working with children in Hardin, MT, Metlakatla, AK, Red Lodge, MT, Sitka, AK, and Columbia Falls, MT.

I have felt the joy of watching children become productive and successful adults.  I have also experienced the sorrow of losing children to drug addiction, fatal accidents and suicide.

I stay an educator because I know each child can make a difference in our world and we cannot afford to lose or give up on any child.

I see public education as an avenue to help all children obtain the skills and attitudes they will need to become successful adults.

I encourage every adult in this community to help us educate our children.  Every conversation you have with a young person can impact their attitude toward learning and their attitude toward life. By simply showing an interest in what is happening in a young person’s life, you may help determine their future.

We are extremely fortunate to live in our great community and we make it better by ensuring every child has the opportunity to receive a quality education.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
